PropCompass FlowPulse turns every trade in NinjaTrader 8 into sound, so you can follow the tape without staring at it. Buys and sells sound different, big prints and fast runs of trades have sounds of their own, and you choose how sensitive it is.
What you hear and see
Every trade makes a sound
Trades at the ask play your buy tone and trades at the bid play your sell tone, so a run of buying or selling is easy to pick out by ear. Set the pitch and the wave shape (sine, square or triangle) for each side, and the volume.
Big prints ring a bell
A single print at or above your block size, anywhere from 5 to 500 lots, plays a bell and is flagged BLOCK on screen with its size and side.
Sweeps glide
Six or more prints on the same side within a third of a second play a quick glide, rising for buyers and falling for sellers, and are flagged SWEEP.
Spike alerts you tune
A spike sound plays when the last few seconds of trading are much busier than the last 15 minutes and lopsided to one side. Sensitivity runs from 1 (calm) to 10 (hair-trigger), with a short warm-up and a cool-down between alerts.
Buy and sell pressure
A live bar shows the share of aggressive buying against selling, labelled buyers in control, sellers in control or balanced.
Trade flow and tape
A rolling equaliser coloured by who was aggressive, the trade pace against the recent average, and a scrolling tape with BLOCK and SWEEP flags.
Only the sounds you want
Switch trade clicks, spike, block and sweep sounds, and soft blips for best bid and ask changes on or off, and use the test buttons to hear each sound first.
Any instrument
Type a contract such as the front-month ES or MNQ and press Start. It runs as its own window from the NinjaTrader Control Center, with no chart needed.
What it is not
FlowPulse never places, changes or cancels an order. Its sounds describe trades that have already happened; they are not signals, predictions or financial advice. It works from NinjaTrader's own market data (trades and the best bid and ask), needs no other account and does not contact any website. It works out whether a trade was a buy or a sell from its price against the best bid and ask, so on a very fast market some trades can be counted on the wrong side. PropCompass is not affiliated with NinjaTrader or any prop firm.

Do I need the PropCompass app, Risk Desk or Orderflow Suite?
No. FlowPulse is a separate add-on that runs inside NinjaTrader 8 on its own, and it sits happily next to the other add-ons.
Does it trade for me?
No. It only listens to market data and plays sounds. It has no order buttons at all.
Which instruments does it work on?
Any instrument you can load in NinjaTrader. Set the block size to suit the market: 50 lots is the starting value, and a quieter contract needs a smaller number.
Can I make it quieter?
Yes. There is a volume slider, every type of sound can be switched off on its own, and the clicks are capped so a busy market does not become a wall of noise.
Is my data uploaded?
No. It does not contact any website and nothing is sent anywhere.
Does it work on Mac?
NinjaTrader 8 is a Windows program, so FlowPulse is for Windows.
